Live Blood Cell Analysis

Live blood cell analysis is a type of test that is conducted to determine the overall wellness of a patient in a variety of ways. It can tell us if a patient has an allergic reaction to substances, if they have conditions that are weakening their liver or other organs, or if they have certain deficiencies in vitamins and minerals, for example. When a patient is ill and can’t figure out why, the live blood cell analysis offers us a lot of information to help determine the best course of treatment.

Dr. Carol Ann Fischer provides this simple test for patients who are looking for more answers into their health and wellness status. It is performed simply by getting a drop of blood from the fingertip and putting that blood on a microscopic slide. This is then viewed with a dark-field microscope under high magnification, where the blood cells are analyzed. By magnifying the blood by about 30,000 times, we can look at how the patient’s body is getting along in their environment.

Some things we look for in the live blood cell analysis may include:

  • ·         damage to the blood cells

  • ·         if antioxidants may be needed

  • ·         the condition of red blood cells

  • ·         prevalence of bacteria or parasites

  • ·         proteins or fats that are undigested

  • ·         the balance of acid and alkaline in the body

  • ·         deficiencies of iron, folic acid, and B12

  • ·         oxygenation levels

  • ·         and many other factors
